About the Ride: This is a mountain bike tour, with no competitive elements. The rides start and end at Old Stone Cider. A mountain bike is the bike of choice. This is a RIDE, NOT A RACE.
The long route (50 miles) is a four-park tour (Fair Hill, White Clay Creek, Redd Park and Middle Run) and the short route (26 miles) is in Fair Hill. Each route has a variety of surfaces. This is primarily a single-track event, however, there is also some double-track, road, field and gravel. The long route has FOUR rest stops (Mile 12, Mile 19, Mile 32 and Mile 42) and the short route has TWO rest stops at (Mile 12 and Mile 19).
After the ride, join us at Old Stone Cider. Each entry comes with an event drinking glass, a hard cider or beer (for cyclists 21 & up) or a non-alcoholic beverage, all you can eat french fries at the post-ride party, and rest stops along the route. Two food trucks will be on site for you to purchase food after the ride. Last Call for drinks is 8:30 and Old Stone closes at 9pm.
Ride with GPS map files, cue sheets, and rider guides will be emailed to you after online registration closes. Routes will be marked, but you will be ultimately responsible to have the files and routes with you. Please note that the event director may alter the proposed routes due to acts of nature, road closures, or other things out of our control. We will contact you via email through bike reg so please read them.
